Burning Sunset
So last week, I got out the shower and saw the amazing sunset we were having. As I live down a hill, the view wasn’t great so I ran up to Park Farm to the top of the car park to take some pictures, wet hair n’all, and practically in my pyjamas. Unfortunately I missed all the amazing pinky purples but it still looked pretty nice though…

The sunsets on Koh phi phi were some of the best we saw in Thailand. The top photo is from the View point, which was the most spectacular view ever, and was absolutely perfect at sunset. The second was from Banana Bar, which has a roof terrace, also lovely for watching the sunset with a nice cocktail…

I learnt a lot whilst in Thailand; I like pineapple, I will jump into the sea if it’s pretty enough, elephants are pretty hairy, Thai people are amongst the most friendly and lovely I’ve met, never trust a monkey, it’s always happy hour, and in Bangkok it’s always rush hour! But by far the best thing I learnt was; the view is ALWAYS worth the climb….

Yesterday evening was so summery, and when I was walking home through Park Farm in Alllestree, the sun was just setting over Kedleston and Quarndon way. So I went up onto the car park on top of Wilkinson’s and managed to get a pretty nice shot, save for the television aerials….
